Welcome to Tasmania's most authentic Irish Pub, Irish Murphy’s.

A pillar of local history, our beautiful building dates back to 1812, when Salamanca was a thriving sea port. It has played home to several interesting business ventures before becoming Irish Murphy’s in 1999.
​
Proudly situated at the northern end of Salamanca opposite Parliament House, with its recently renovated large outdoor dining area, it is the perfect place to enjoy a drink and try some world famous Tasmanian produce, all whilst soaking up the unique atmosphere of Salamanca.

We are a contemporary spin on a traditional Irish Pub, focusing on ‘Welcome Home’ hospitality, having the best in local live music and purveyors of great locally-sourced ingredient food.
